■3rd Person POV■

The ambulance arrives at the hospital and the med immediately moves Y/N to the ER. Kise stares from outside the room, not allowed to get inside.

Hyouka arrives with her friends who follow the ambulance with Taxi. She found Kise staring at the ER.

Hyouka: oi Kise! How's she? Where is she?

Kise didn't look away from where Y/N is not even for a second.

Kise: she will be alright... she has to be... alright...

Hyouka could see that Kise is shaken by now. She's angry at this man who made Y/N cry, but she knows better that the two have close relationship. And the face he's making right now is enough evidence that he doesn't care about anything else other than Y/ N's well being at the moment.

Hyouka looks at the ER, her heart hurt seeing her bestfriend like that.

Hyouka: her parents... we should tell them...

As if he was just come back to reality, Kise picks up his phone.

Kise: right...

Kise calls Y/N's family and so does his family. The two families are close to each other.

Kise nervously walking back and forth in front of the ER. It's been half an hour since Y/N's was brougt to the ER.

Hyouka walks closer to Kise and offers a bottle of water. Kise looks at Hyouka who's not looking at him.

Hyouka: sit down... it's unconsciously to see you walk around with blood all over your clothes like that.

Kise looks down and sees that his blue shirts are covered in red as he cradles Y/ N's body earlier.

Hyouka: just like what you said... she... will be alright...

Kise clench his hands but then he takes the water and sit. Not long after Y/N's parents and Kise's parents arrive at the hospital and head to Kise.

Kise's mom: Ryouta! Ryouta what happen? Are you alright? This! Blood...

Kise: no... it's not mine...

Kise stares at Y/N's mother, he kneel in front of her startling everyone.

Kise: I'm sorry... I should've run faster... I... should have protect her... I saw that car comi-

But before Kise could finish what he was saying.

Hyouka: I see that car first... I too... should have help her but I know... i couldn't make it... the car is in high speed... the driver was drunk... Y/N is picking something on the road... and... (sobs).. the light hasn't even turn green (sobs) that driver.... (sobs)... I... want to smack his...

One of Hyouka's friends calm her down, seeing how she too is in shock from watching Y/N in her current state.

Y/N's mother cries and Kise's mother hugs her. Y/N's father tells Kise to stand up and helps him up.

Kise's father: it's an accident... don't blame yourself Ryouta...

Kise feels the pat of his father on his back. He then looks in front o him as Y/N's father stares at him.

Y/N's father: I know Y/N won't like to see you blame yourself like this...

Tears roll down her father's eyes and Kise's eyes widened.

Y/N's father: let's just pray that... my daughter will soon open her eyes...

Kise can't hold it anymore and hung his head, his shoulder shaking. Countless tears fall from his eyes.

Kise: yes...

They all waiting for the doctor to see them. Hyouka excuse herself first leaving Kise with his nd Y/N's family.

■Kise's POV■

50 minutes have passed since we arrived at the hospital. I'm sitting nervously waiting for the doctor to come out along with Y/N's family and my family.

Suddenly a bag appear in front of me. I look up and see my dad holds a paper bag in front of me.

Kise: dad?

Kise's father: go change your clothes Ryouta, Y/N might freak out when she wake up and see you look like that...

I look down at my clothes, there are so many of her blood. I nod and head to the restroom to change.

When I return, I sit back in my seat, but not long after the doctor came out.

Doctor: L/N Y/N's family?

All of us stand up from iur seat and approach the doctor.

Kise: how is she?

Y/N's mother: how's my daughter?

Doctor: there were some fractures, Two of her ribs are broken but thankfully they didn't harm her organs. Her right arms is broken as well but it'll probably heal within three months.

My chest feels tight as I listen to what happen to Y/N.

Doctor: there are also some internal injuries and bleeding, but thankfully it's not too severe and we manage to handle it... but...

Dub dub

Doctor: it seems like her head got hit and it might left a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury)... we already check on it but we found that it's a severe one... we need to wait until young L/N regain her consciousness to check on the symptoms... it might take a while for her to wake up... the fastest is 6 hours, but it could take days too...

Y/N's mother gasps and cries, and mom holds her. I can say anything

The nurses move Y/N to the Intensive Care Unit, and we follow them. After they're done with their job, they left the room and let us in but not too many people at once.

Y/N's mother and father walk in and I can see that they stare at their daughter sadly. Y/N's mother kiss Y/N's forehead and then her father calm her crying mother.

They soon walk out of the room and tell us that we can see her too.

Kise's mother: Ryouta, want to go in together?

I shook my head

Kise: mom and dad, you can go first... I'll... go after you...

With that mom and dad walk in and check on Y/N. Not log after they left the room and then I finally walk in.

Every step I took to get closer to her bed, I found it harder to breathe. I look at Y/N's body on the hospital bed. There're bruises on her pale skin.

I walk closer and look at her up close. My chest became tight. I hold her hand while staring at her face.

Kise: Y/N.... hey...

I bring her hand to my face, with my other hand I cup her face.

You're cold...

Kise: open your eyes Y/N... please wake up...

My eyes became warm and I can't help it as my tears fell on the white sheet.

Kise: we haven't made up... I... haven't apologize for hurting you...

Please... wake up...

I can't see you like this...

I'm currently modeling for a perfume brand. I sit on the sofa and look at my phone. Two days have passed since the accident and Y/N's still hasn't regain her consciousness.

I'm chatting with my mom, she's at the hospital with Y/N's mother.

Sender: Mom
Recipient: Ryouta

Y/N's hasn't wake up yet, but Ryouta don't worry, the doctor said that she will be fine. You too need to look after yourself.

Y/N's mom told you to eat regularly, don't miss your meal time.

She hasn't wake up yet...

I'm about to reply to my mother when.

Kinana: Ryouta chan...

I look up to see Kinana comes my way. She sits next to me.

Kise: ah Kinana, what are you doing here? Are you doing photoshoot around here?

Somehow she pouts.

Kinana: can't I come to see you? Well yes, I have a photoshoot for skincare product next door.

Kise: I see...

Lately i haven't see Kinana, because I'm to focused on meeting Y/N and talk to her, moreover after the accident, I always go to the hospital.

Kinana: Ryouta chan... can we go on a date after this?

I can't...

Kise: sorry Kinana, I can't... I have to go to the hospital...

Kinana: but, Y/N san is being watched by the doctors right? I mean, she'll be fine... come on, we haven't been together...

Kise: sorry Kinana... I-

Kise's mother: ryouta, Y/N's awake...

I get up from my seat

Kinana: Ryou cha-

Kise: manager san... that's the last of today's photoshoot right?

Manager: uh yes, but we have to meet the-

I bow my head

Kise: please meet them without me, I have something important to do...

With that I left the room, doesn't care about anything else as I still talk to my mom on the phone.

Kise: I'm on my way mom

Kise's mother: Ryouta... but... there's something...

My eyes widened as I listen to what my mother says. My legs stop running as I process what I heard.

Kise: I'm... on my way...

Kise's mother: be careful Ryouta...

I drive my car to the hospital, my heart is thumping inside my chest. I park the car and head to where Y/N's room is.

As I walk, what my mother said on the phone replayed on n
My head.

"Kise's mother: Y/N is awake now... but"

I'm getting closer to the room.

"Kise's mother: the doctor said that... the trauma on her head cause her..."

I open the door to her room and sees my mother and Y/N's mother sitting next to the hospital bed.

There on the bed, the girl that I've been waiting to see her eyes open, looks my way.

Kise: Y/N...

Mother comes to me and hold my hand.

Kise's mother: Ryouta... please be calm...

I walk closer to her bed and Y/N stares at me. Her mother gently brushes her hair.

Kise: Y/N...

Y/N bows her head at me and looks at me.

Y/N: um hello...

Dub dub

Y/N: um... I'm Y/N... what about you?

Y/N's mother puts a hand on my shoulder.

I puts my hand on tops of her hand trying to reassure her. I crouches down a little, resting my elbow on the bed so Y/N don't need to look up.

Kise: I'm... Kise Ryouta...

"Kise's mother: Y/N... has memory lost... she doesn't even recognize her mother"

Y/N...

Y/N: Kise san?

Dub dub

That sounds so foreign

Kise: no... you call me Ryou... I'm your childhood friend...

Her eyes as she stares at me soften and then she smiles sweetly, the sweet smile that I've been missing.

Y/N: I see... Okay then... Ryou san... thank you for coming...

I hold her hand and I put my forehead on it, looking down to hide my face from her.

I can't hold it, as my tears came out.

Kise: no.... (sniffles) thank you for waking up...

I'm glad you woke up...

But...

Please... I wish you could remember...

And my mistakes...
